Tom’s been playing guitar for over 9 years, and he knows how to get the most sound out of a guitar. He offers lessons to all levels of guitarists—beginner to experienced.

Our Story

...my experience with luthiery and woodworking began in earnest when I enrolled in the Summit School of Guitar Building and Repair in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. There, I worked with some profoundly talented and learned luthiers on a personal level. They taught me much during my time there, but I am constantly learning more as I forge my own path....

Luthier

A luthier is an artisan who builds or repairs stringed instruments such as guitars, cellos, violins, mandolins, dulcimers and banjos. The word luthier comes from the French word luth, which means lute. The term originally referred to makers of lutes and is now used interchangeably with any term that refers to makers of a specific, or specialty, type of stringed instrument, such as violin maker, guitar maker, or lute maker...
